FISHING SAFARI AT WIGRAM ISLAND.
 Day
1.
Wednesday, 2nd
August. Depart Gove Harbour at 7am on board MV "Arafura Blue" for Wigram
Island which is approx. 3½ hours north
of Gove Harbour. On arrival go ashore and stow luggage etc.
and then set out for the remainder of the day fishing.
Overnight Wigram Island.
Day
2. Thursday,
3rd August. Head off after breakfast for angling activities
to the various around Wigram Island and English Company Island
group. Lunch on board. Return approx. 5pm
Overnight Wigram Island.
 Day
3.
Friday, 4th August. After breakfast
head out for a half-day fishing, return to Island for lunch,
then depart 1.00 pm for return to Gove Harbour
arriving approx. 4.30pm
Inclusions:
- 3
day/2night Guided Wilderness Fishing Safari at Wigram Island
with the services of professional and locally experience
skipper/guide.
- Use
of quality fishing equipment supplied on a replace is lost
or damaged basis.
- Beachside
fully screened quality tent accommodation with comfortable
single beds and linen provided. Freshwater showers and septic
toilet amenities.
- All
meals for the duration of the Safari at Wigram Island and
freshly prepared by staff.
- Camping
Fees and return transfers Gove Wharf/Wigram Island.

Gove: The township of Nhulunbuy
on the Gove Peninsula has a population of approx. 3500 - 4000
residents. The fishing in the region is magnificent and offers
a variety of pelagic, reef and some estuary species of fish
to target . Stay on and do some sightseeing!
Getting
to Gove:
Via Darwin: Qantas has daily a.m. flights from Darwin
to Gove arriving Gove at 8am
Via Cairns: Qantas has daily flights from Cairns to
Gove arriving Gove Airport at 7.20pm each evening.
N.B. Anglers travelling via Cairns may require additional
accommodation pre and post fishing package which is costed
at $75.00 per person, per night on a twin share basis.
