Bromby Island and the magnificent fishing in this
region. The 'Island Retreat' is an ideal base for
fishing safaris as the location puts you in the heart
on the regions top spots, travelling time is minimised
which means more Fishing Time!
Our
Retreat is a welcome haven after a long day of reeling
in fish! The beachside 'Safari Lodge' offers comfortable
twin share accommodation with single beds and linen
supplied. Fresh water showers and flush toilet facilities.
All
meals are freshly prepared by our qualified staff and
anglers can enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches,
bird life and native flora and fauna or simply cool
off in the azure water of the bay directly in front
of your accommodation.
The atmosphere at Wigram Island is tropically
casual and you only need your swimwear; sarong; shorts;
t-shirts; long-sleeved and lightweight clothing is the
best, plus, a good pair of runners or walking shoes for
accessing some areas of the Island. Don't forget your
hat and sunscreen!
Duration of the safari is usually 4 days and 3 nights
with additional days available or you can choose to
extend the safari to a maximum of 7 Days/6 Nights.
Wigram
Island is situated in the pristine wilderness in North
East Arnhemland and on Aboriginal Land. Entry
into Arnhemland is on permit only, which is arranged
before your arrival. You will experience on this Island,
a part of Australia very few people have ever
had the chance to encounter.
We
can cater for singles, couples or small groups up to
8 people.
